I have been involved in music for 20 years. My musical journey began with my maternal family’s Jaipur Gharana, where I was inspired by my grandfather, renowned sitar player Ustad Munshi Khan Sahab, and my great-grandfather famous santoor player, clarinet Vadak. It was from them that I found my passion for music. Alongside learning, I started singing with my father’s orchestra band in live programs, gaining valuable experience in live music. Therefore, I consider my father as my first guru and followed his guidance. Then I began my classical music training, which I received from Guru Amit Anupam Ji’s music school and obtained a degree in music (Visharad) from the Lucknow Bhatkhande Board. At home, I learned light music from the famous tabla player, Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Ji. Additionally, I received training in Sufi and Rajasthani folk music from the renowned maand singer, Ustad Bundu Khan Sahab. I learned harmonium from Ustad Suleman Khan Sahab. Later, I stayed with my maternal uncle, the famous santoor player Ustad Anwar Hussain, also known as Neelu Ji, in Mumbai for some time to further my musical education
I am also receiving training in classical music from Ustad Shaukat Khan Sahab from the Sikar Gharana. I have received blessings from several prominent figures such as Pt. Hanuman Sahay Ji, Janab Abid Ali Ji, Shri Ram Sharma Ji, Shri Dolat Ji, and Shri Nagori Ji. In 2013, I achieved the title of Radio City Super Singer, bestowed upon me by a famous music director. After that, I achieved many significant milestones. In 2010, I received the Voice of Rajasthan award from Rajasthan Patrika, presented by the renowned music director Salim Sulaiman Ji. I got the opportunity to perform on Doordarshan National. I won the World Karaoke Championship award in 2011. In 2009, I got the chance to participate in the Star Plus show Music Ka Maha Muqabla, where I performed on stage with Bollywood singers such as Shreya Ghoshal Ji, Himesh Reshammiya, Mika Singh, Udit Narayan Ji, and Shaan. I have won hearts with my music both in India and abroad. I would like to mention some of my specialties: I am proficient in performing Sufi, Bollywood, Retro, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Ghazal, Rock, and Devotional programs, and I have the ability to connect people through my music.
